Spray Valve Controller - Advice Sought

The question is how to operate the controller different. I mean to open the valve first, after the pre-shot time start to spray air and before ending the cycle first stop the spray air and a certain time later close the valve. It’s just the opposite to the drawing below.

Looking for your recommendations, best regards

  2. Jordi,

Thanks for your confirmation that essentially you wish to "reverse" the action of the spray vavle. The reason you gave is that you wish to spray through a 2mm hole and do not wish the get the "external" surface dirty with the "before" and after spray.

    Jordi - couple of comments:
    1. I will assume that this is a "robotic" operation. You would program the robot to locate the valve "output" orifice right over and as close as possible to the 2mm opening - then once in place, you could:
    2. operate the spray valve in same "normal" manner or
    3. you could program the spray valve controller to open and close BOTH the atomization and valve at the SAME time.

The only thing you would have to make sure is that the valve is in the correct position before there is any action and would remain there after any spraying
Jordi - reversing the action of the spray valve would not guarantee that a droplet of oil will not fall on the surface as you moved away.

By the way, per Mustafa, you can very easily "reverse" the action of the valve just by "reversing" the hoses - good luck!!

  3. Hello Jordi,

The atomizing and the operation air regulators are not the same. The atomizing regulator cannot supply enough air to activate the valve.

Therefore you will need to change the solenoid valve air input hoses inside the dipenser to reverse the shottime setting.
